Our Story
Every story matters…
but our stories are especially profound when they are His story.
Our stories are important; they reveal something about us and highlight what is significant in our lives. These stories become especially profound when they express how we have been forever changed through the experience of Christ, His ardent love, and the Christian Community. This is the heart of our ministry.
How It Began
Ardently His was founded out of a desire for all women to encounter Christ’s incredible, ardent love—a deep, personal affection that transcends all understanding. Our goal isn’t just to inform women about this love, but to inspire them to actively experience it. We know from our own stories the profound life change that comes from not merely knowing about Jesus but from intimately knowing Him and embracing His love every moment of every day. We also know the immense blessing of being in a community with other believers and have a deep desire for everyone to come to experience that blessing as well.
However, it doesn’t stop there. Our mission is also to encourage women to share their stories with one another because each story matters. When we share how Christ has met us in our darkest moments, we can illuminate the path for others in similar situations, showing how His light and love can transform everything. It is about passing along a flame that combines with others to collectively shine light in a dark world.

This ministry is for the women who feel lost and hurt due to their circumstances, for those struggling to move past their past, and for silent sufferers who may not have a close Christian community. It is for those who wish to find someone who understands their feelings and can point them in the right direction. It is also for those who already have support but need encouragement from someone else’s story. And it is for all of us who desire a deeper understanding of Christ and His profound love.
We understand what it’s like to face a soul-crushing ache in the night. We hope to meet women in that place, wherever they are, and offer the comfort and encouragement that can only be found in Christ. We want them to be able to breathe deeply and know it will be okay—sister to sister, friend to friend, intimately sharing over coffee or tears. We invite these women to explore our topical listings to find their struggle, lean in, listen closely, and allow God to take over from there.
Why This Ministry Matters
A changing landscape across fifty years
For decades, Americans were much more likely to identify as Christian. Gallup’s long-running surveys show that 87% identified with a Christian religion in 1975, compared with 68% in 2023—a decline of 19 percentage points across nearly five decades. The change has unfolded over generations, even as the pace of decline has varied.

These numbers cannot tell us each person’s spiritual journey. But they help explain why ministries that invite women into authentic relationships, biblical encouragement, and local-church community matter. Some women may have grown up around church and gradually drifted away; others may never have experienced that kind of connection. Both deserve to be welcomed and heard.
Many Americans identify as Christian. Far fewer meet a definition of actively practicing their faith.
Christian identity is meaningful, but it does not necessarily tell us whether someone is connected to a church, growing through discipleship, or experiencing supportive Christian relationships. National research highlights that distinction.
68%
of U.S. adults identified as Christian in Gallup’s 2024 research.
56%
of Christians seldom or never attended religious services, according to Gallup’s 2024 analysis.
24%
of U.S. adults met Barna’s definition of a practicing Christian in its 2025 findings.
Sources: Gallup, Religion and Church Attendance Has Declined in Most U.S. Religious Groups; Barna, Faith’s Shrinking Influence (2025). Barna defines “practicing Christian” using Christian identification, at least monthly church attendance, and strong agreement that faith is very important. These studies use different survey populations and definitions; the percentages should not be subtracted from one another.
Behind every statistic is a person—a life with questions, hopes, and a story still being written.
Taking the stories beyond church walls
When women are disconnected from Christian community, they may also be missing the encouragement that comes from hearing how God has worked in someone else’s life. The statistics remind us that identifying as Christian does not always mean a woman has relationships where she can ask difficult questions, share her struggles, and grow in faith.
Ardently His brings those stories to her. Through testimonies shared in our app and other ministry resources, women can hear from others who have walked through hardship and experienced the comfort, faithfulness, and transforming love of Christ.
Some women carry burdens quietly. Others may be surrounded by people yet still feel alone in what they are facing. We believe testimony can open a door to hope, helping a woman realize she is not alone and pointing her toward Jesus and the blessing of Christian community.
Our desire is not to replace the local church, but to help women find encouragement wherever they are and inspire them toward deeper relationships with Christ and other believers. Every story shared can be an invitation to connect, to grow, and eventually to share what God has done in her own life.
What Does It Mean to Be Ardently His?
Ardent means passionate, fervent, deeply devoted—like a flame burning brightly.
Ardent describes God’s incredible, all-encompassing fervent love for us. It’s why the cross is referred to as His passion. If we seek to know Him more deeply, we will experience more of that great love and learn to reciprocate it with our own ardent love in return.
Join us as we seek to know Him more, trust Him more, love Him more, and share what He has done.
Our Story Is Still Being Written
Through testimonies, mentoring, gatherings, and partnerships with churches, we hope to help more women encounter Christ’s love and share His faithfulness with others.
